The client has an artificial heart valve and takes blood-thinning medication (Marcumar), requiring increased caution during handling. Although the lady is still partially mobile, she is physically fragile and needs accompaniment and a sense of security when moving. Mentally, due to dementia, she relies on assistance to maintain daily structure and regular reminders for hydration and nutrition. Your assistance will be primarily needed for overall hygiene, dressing, and undressing, while showering and intimate hygiene are currently provided by a professional nursing service. Due to bowel incontinence, regular changing of incontinence aids is important. In addition to caregiving duties, managing the household in an apartment of 120 m² is a crucial part of the job, including cooking, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness. The lady will greatly appreciate your company during shared meals, conversations, or other forms of engagement. Night work is not required, as the senior usually sleeps through the night. A furnished room with an area of 15 m² and internet access is prepared for the caregiver. The senior's daughter is very active, regularly assists with manicures and pedicures, and is available to help plan leisure activities based on mutual agreement. Smoking is not tolerated.

Of course, you can also choose another transportation method that you prefer. The caregiver pays for the journey themselves, with the family in Germany contributing €150-200 towards it, and in Switzerland 380 CHF.
In Germany, the standard length of a work period is 4 to 6 weeks, while in Switzerland it's 2 months. In the case of temporary replacements, the periods are shorter.
The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. Compensation depends on the required language and other skills, the client's health condition, and whether care is provided for an individual or a married couple. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
In Germany, an intermediate to good knowledge of German is most commonly required, while some families are satisfied with basic knowledge and/or require knowledge of another language, such as Czech or Russian. Families in Switzerland require good knowledge of German, though sometimes an upper-intermediate level is sufficient.
