We are looking for a caregiver with good German language skills and experience with dementia. A driver's license is not required, and smoking is allowed only outside the house.

Assistance is needed with dressing, hygiene, showering, hair washing, and toileting, including changing incontinence aids. She needs to be regularly taken to the toilet, encouraged to eat and drink, and fed if necessary. The job includes cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, providing company, walks, and simple activities like board games. The family prepares the medication. The family accompanies her to the doctor and appointments.

Night care is not required. On Tuesdays, the senior attends a day care center from 8:00 to 16:00. The family helps and also takes care of cooking during visits.

The caregiver resides in a two-family house in the peaceful rural area of Sallneck. Internet is available. Free time is arranged by agreement.

The client is a 47-year-old woman weighing 50 kg and 180 cm tall, who moves around the house in a wheelchair. She suffers from advanced multiple sclerosis, is unable to move her arms or legs, and is very limited in mobility. She has gluten and lactose intolerance and an allergy to animal fur. The client wakes up around 8.00–9.00 a.m. and goes to bed at approximately 7.00 p.m. Showers are given on Thursday and Sunday. The caregiver will accompany her by car to the doctor, hairdresser, and other necessary trips.

Job responsibilities include complete household management, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation, with a hot meal cooked in the evening. Shopping is about a five-minute drive away and can be done together with the client. The role also involves spending time together and supporting daily activities. Night work is not required, and physical lifting is not necessary as all transfers are done using lifts. The client retains perception and orientation.

Care takes place in Groß-Gerau, in a family house with a small garden. The caregiver is provided with a furnished guest room with Wi-Fi. A good command of German is required, as well as non-smoking indoors and being an active driver. A personal car with automatic transmission is available. Free time can be taken by agreement, usually daily from 12.00 to 3.00 p.m., and on Monday until 4.00 p.m.

The start date is planned with a possible range of 01.09.–15.09.2026. Important note: the client used to smoke heavily but has forgotten about it. If the caregiver smokes, it must be done outside and discreetly, as it could remind the client of her own smoking. Due to a cat in the household, the caregiver is required to like animals.
